The Brazilian Association of Mechanically Processed Wood Industries (Abimci) launched its 2019 Market Report at the International Timber Week. The new publication brings the most up to date in-depth look at the segment, with socioeconomic data and the contributions of forestry and the timber industry for the Brazilian economy.
The publication is split into four main chapters (Forest, Industry, Market and Priority Actions) and is aimed at the market and Abimic’s associated companies, as well as research institutions, universities, the press, financial and investment agents, government institutions and other representative entities.
The main social and economic data provided in the Report were presented at the 3rd WoodTrade Brazil, held by Abimci in partnership with FIEP and Malinovski.
According to the Association, the document is an instrument aimed at helping the daily work of companies and Abimci itself in its constant actions of institutional representation in the defense of the sector’s interests and the commercial promotion of wood products in Brazil and abroad.
