Geotechnologies are essential for the cultivation and monitoring of both planted and native forests. During International Wood Week, an exclusive event entirely dedicated to this field will showcase the latest developments. The 3rd edition of Gisforest will take place on September 17 and 18, 2024, at the Expotrade Convention Center in Pinhais, Curitiba Metropolitan Region.

The event will feature lectures from experts and researchers presenting successful case studies related to technological innovations for forest plantations, advancements in geotechnological applications for native forests, and international technologies and trends in geotechnology for forestry applications.

GisForest is a technical event, with its first edition held in person in 2019. The 2nd edition took place online in 2021, and now, in 2024, it is part of the International Wood Week program. The content will be divided into: planted forests on the first day and native forests on the second day.
