International Timber Week will host a Forestry Geotechnology Meeting
Not even the sky is the limit for the 21st century’s technological advancements. Spatial delimitation, topography reading and determining vegetation and soil characteristics are fundamental for planning and optimizing operations in forestry and agriculture activities. Geoprocessing is becoming faster and more precise, thanks to the use of highly developed computers and modern georeferencing software able to process geographic information such as area maps and topography charts. Remote sensing, previously dependent on satellites, is being successfully used and constantly improved with the use of drones.
This technological universe will be explored in the International Timber Week (SIM) at Gis Forest, a technical event promoted and organized by Malinovski with the support of educational institutions, such as the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). Don’t miss it: the International Timber Week will be held from September 10th to the 13th in Curitiba (Paraná).
