Klabin completed the Caetê Project in July, which enabled the acquisition of 85 thousand hectares of productive forest land, primarily located in Paraná. According to the company, this marks the end of an important land expansion cycle undertaken in the region.

As a result, Klabin adds 31.5 million tons to its total wood volume and advances towards its target of 75% self-sufficiency in wood supply. This is expected to reduce future investments, mainly related to purchasing wood from third parties, as well as increase cost competitiveness.
