This is an exclusive area within the fair showcasing companies that offer technology for engineered wood construction. Confirmed exhibitors include Birka, Ledinek, Grupo Linares, and Minda.
Mass Timber refers to the range of wood products used in prefabricated construction solutions, both large and small scale, including multi-story buildings entirely made of wood. Products classified as mass timber include laminated and nailed beams; structural panels with glued, nailed, or doweled elements, providing high mechanical strength. Here are some of the main types of mass timber available on the market:
- GLULAM – Glue-laminated timber
- CLT – Cross-laminated timber
- LVL – Laminated veneer lumber
- NLT – Nail laminated timber
- DLT – Dowel laminated timber
- PSL – Parallel strand lumber
- MPP – Mass plywood panel
