In 1762, John Jennings, one of the most powerful men in Sweden at the time, arrived in Västerbotten County. At the mouth of the Ledu River, about 5 kilometers west of Nordmaling, he built a blast furnace and a forge. He named the place Olofsfors.
Today, the Swedish multinational Olofsfors manufactures high-quality steel products in the form of tracks for forestry tire equipment. Confirmed for Lignum 2024, the company aims to strengthen relationships and boost its brand presence.
“With this event, we hope to further strengthen our relationship with customers and promote our complete product line,” says Alex Lambert, South America regional manager.
