About Lignum Latin America

Lignum Latin America is a trade fair focused on wood Transformation, Beneficiation, Preservation, Energy, Biomass, Forest Management and Timber Use. With every edition, the fair brings solutions, product launches and trends for the industrial timber and forestry sectors in static and dynamic demonstrations.

In its second edition, held in 2017, Lignum Latin America brought 86 exhibitors and 6,188 highly qualified visitors, resulting in over BRL 98.2 million in sales and prospections.

Lignum Latin America is the main event of the International Timber Week, which also encompasses four technical events – the 3rd Woodtrade Brazil and the 2nd WoodProtection – which have as their main goal providing participants the best opportunity for professional updating on the timber and wood protection markets.

During the 3rd International Timber Week, the events will provide the true integration of the industrial timber sector. The synergy between different players will once again prove the Power of Wood to the national and global markets.

The History of Lignum Brazil

With the goal of once again reuniting the timber production chain, and present new technologies and solutions to the market, Lignum Brazil was created in 2016, after a decade without any such events in Brazil focused on this market. In its first edition, Lignum Brazil had 71 exhibitors in Curitiba (Paraná state) who presented solutions, product launches and tendencies for the industrial timber sector in static and dynamic demonstrations.
The second edition, held in 2017, from September 20 to 22, brought 86 exhibitors and 6,188 highly qualified visitors, resulting in over BRL 98.2 million in sales and prospections.
